Atlantikwall - Coastal Battery d'Ecqueville

This German coastal battery was built during the Second World War. It fired on Allied ships in June 1944 and was bombed on 3 and 7 September 1944. On 10 September, the British forces launched their assault on Le Havre. The German garrison sabotaged the guns and retreated on 12 September.
