Tan Son Nhat International Airport

This airport in Hồ Chí Minh was built by the French colonial government in the early 30's and was temporally occupied by Japanese forces in 1945. The Royal Air Force took control over the airfield after the Japanese surrender. It was an important United States Army Air Force (USAAF) airbase during the Vietnam War.
