The War Memorial of Korea

The National War Memorial in South-Korea (War Memorial of Korea), is a combination of a museum and a national monument which commemorates not only the Koreans but also all other victims from participating countries.

The indoor section of the monument consists of seven rooms in which more than 9,000 objects from primarily the Korean War can be seen. The layout consists of a memorial hall met many monuments, a war history hall, three areas that give attention to the Korean War, a Expeditionary Forces hall, a Republic of Korea Armed Forces hall and a hall that gives attention to the Land defence.

The outdoor section houses like the indoor sections, a lot of monuments, there are however also a large number of vehicles, guns and planes dating from World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. It is for visitors often allowed to enter these vehicles.

For current visiting hours, please visit the website of the museum.
