Bridge Of No Return

The "bridge of no return" is located in the Joint Security Area (JSA) on the border between North and South Korea. In 1953 it was used for the exchangement of prisoners after the Korean War.
The name comes from the fact that it was said that many North Koreans did not want to return to their homeland. They could choose not to cross the bridge. Once they crossed it, they could never return.
