Long Tan Cross

This cross is erected by Australian forces in 1969 and is now on display at the Dong Nai Museum in Biên Ḥa. It commemorates the battle in Long Tân of the D Company of the 6th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (6 RAR) against Vietnamese communist troops, on 18 August 1966. In the battle, 18 Australian and at least 245 Communist soldiers were killed.
On the original location of the cross is now a replica.
