Pulau Bidong Relief Camp

The island of Pulau Bidong from from 1975 to 1991 a relief camp for Vietnamese "boat people" who fled their country after the Vietnam War. Over 250,000 people stayed in the camp, sometimes 40,000 at the same time.
There are some remains of the camp. There are also many private memorials.
