War Memorial Lennoxville

This memorial commemorates the residents of Lennoxville who died in the First and Second World War. The Korean War is also mentioned.

It has two distinctive plaques, in addition to the large ones for war dead from the First and Second World Wars. First is a plaque acknowledging the service of a local man, Daniel Bolduc who joined the US Army and was killed in Vietnam in 1969. Secondly, in 2018 a plaque acknowledging Canada's war service in Afghanistan.

Accompanying the memorial is a US made, 75mm Pack Howitzer which was delivered to the town about 1978. Its history is not known, although this model of gun is believed to have been used by Canadians in limited numbers.
