Warning Sign Minefield

During the Falklands War, some 20,000 mines laid by the Argentines, making whole areas on the islands unusable. Because it was not profitable, they did not clear the mines for many years, but in recent years a pilot project has begun to rid the territory of some of the landmines left behind and clean up land that has been off limits since the conflict.
