Remembrance Cross HMS Coventry (D118)

This cross commemorates the HMS Coventry (D118), which was sunk by Argentine Air Force A-4 Skyhawks on 25 May 1982 during the Falklands War. Nineteen of her crew were killed and a further 30 injured. One of the wounded died later on.
After the ship was struck, her crew, waiting to be rescued, sang "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" from Monty Python's Life of Brian.
