Cemetery Victims Prekaz Massacre

This martyrs cemetery is part of the Adem Jashari Memorial Complex in Prekaz. The victims of the massacre are buried here.

On 5 March 1998, the Special Anti-Terrorism Unit of Serbia attacked Prekaz in an operation against terrorists. The attack led to a massacre in which Adem Jashari, a leader of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK/KLA) and about 60 other family members of him and his brother Hamëz were murdered.
