Defense Technology Museum

The Wehrtechnische Studiensammlung (WTS), also known as the Scientific Collection of Defense Engineering Specimens or the Defense Technology Museum, is a military technology museum in Koblenz, Germany. It covers 7,200 square meters, making it one of Germany’s largest technical collections.

Founded in 1962, the museum was originally part of the Federal Office of Defense Technology and Procurement (BWB) but now operates under the Federal Office for Equipment, Information Technology, and Use of the Bundeswehr (BAAINBw). It serves as a research and training resource, documenting the evolution of military engineering, weaponry, and defense systems.

Inside, visitors will find an extensive collection of vehicles, artillery, and weapons, with a notable focus on Second World War equipment. The displays offer insight into historical and modern military technology, including equipment used by the Bundeswehr.
