Spanish Civil War Memorial Leitza

This monument on the church commemorates the residents of Leitza who died or went missing in the Spanish Civil War. Apart from the names of the victims, the monument bears the following text:

In Basque: "1936-1939 Gerran hildako Leitzatarrak emaiezu jauna betiko atsedena"

"1936-1939 Lord, grant eternal rest to the people of Leitza who perished in the war".

Previously, another plaque hung here, commemorating only Nationalist victims.
