Tachikawa Airbase
This airbase was originally built by the Imperial Guard to protect Tokyo from Aerial threats. It was bombed by the XXI Bomber Command (29th Bombardment Group) B-29 Superfortresses in the period April-June 1945.
The airbase was also used by the USAAF during the Korea War.
