Resistance Cemetery and Memorial La Haudelinière

This cemetery and memorial commemorates the resistancegroep (Maquis) of Saffré, which existed of about 350 men. In June 1944, 2500 German soldiers operated against this group. 27 members of the resistance were captured and shot at La Bouvardière Castle, on 28 June 1944.
