India Gate

This memorial, the India Gate or the Delhi Memorial, commemorates 13,216 Commonwealth servicemen who were killed in India and the surrounding countries and whose graves were unknown or unmaintainable.
The memorial also commemorates the about 70,000 Indian soldiers who were killed in the era 1914-1921.
