T-34/76 Turret
There are numerous T-34/76 turrets, converted to memorials, spread across the city of Volgograd, indicating the location of former frontlines and other memorable places. The inscription on the memorial reads:
"The first line of defense of the 308th Rifle Division under Colonel LN Gurtyev ran here in 1942 ."
