Memorial Complex "Lembolovskaya Stronghold"

On this spot, the Russian 23th army managed tot stop the advance of the German troops from Finland in September 1941. The memorial itself commemorates the Siege of Leningrad in common and the heroic action of three pilots who crashed with their burning airplane into an enemy artillery battery in July 1942.
