War Memorial Cathedral of St. Mary and St. John

The painting of the altarpiece of the Cathedral of St. Mary and St. John was made by Percy Francis Gethin (killed in action in 1916 in World War I) in memory of his brother, Reginald Owen Gethin, British South African Police, who died serving with the army in South Africa in 1899.

The roll of honour commemorates the members of the parish who served their country in the Great War (World War I).

Other plaques are dedication to:

- Lt. B.G. MacDowell who gave his life on 22 September 1915 in the Great War (World War I).
- Lt. Geoffrey Russel Fenton who gave his life on 20 September 1914 in the Great War (World War I).
