Cannon Liberty Ship 'Dan Beard'

This cannon was recovered from the wreck of the American Liberty Ship 'Dan Beard' in 2005. The Dan Beard was torpedoed outside Porthgain by a German U-boat on 10 December 1944. The ship was on it's way from Omaha Beach in Normandy to Belfast.
