Poplar Grove National Cemetery

Poplar Grove National Cemetery mainly contains graves of Union war dead.. There are also some graves of war dead or veterans from other conflicts, inclusing one for a British soldier from World War I.

Poplar Grove National Cemetery contains one Commonwealth war grave, of Company Sergeant Major George Mayor Symons who died of the flu while at Camp Lee, on 8 October 1918.
