Cologne Cathedral

Cologne Cathedral suffered from bombardment during the Second World War and there was much damage on the roof. On 6 March 1945 there was fighting between American and German troops around the cathedral. Of these fights, holes from bullets and grenades are still visible. The light parts of the walls are replacements made after the war.
