This cross was created in 1954 for people, french or foreign, who can justify at least a service of 90 days in a french Resistance organisation and/or had been killed or wounded in a Resistance action. The front face of the cross displays a Lorraine cross. The ribbon is made of the colours of the Resistance Medal and the Order of the Liberation : red, black and green.
