Croix du Combattant Volontaire 1939-1945
This cross with the self-explanatory title, was instituted on February 4th, 1953, and is identical to the one awarded during World War 1, except for the years on the reverse of the badge: "1939-1945". It was awarded to those who had volunteered for combatant service.
