21 1010 Message received by R/T that CCS is to move 23 Mar and pack immediately.

22 0930 21 FTU moved to 24 CCS.
22 1000 Remaining patients evacuated.

23 0715 First flight of vehs left HELMOND for CCS new location – ISSUM in Germany. Remaining parties departed in threes at 15 min intervals.
23 0730 Major W. Michie left for new location.
23 1000 Major W. Mitchie, travelling by direct route, reached location.
23 1030 First flight of vehs arrived at new location. Off loading and tent pitching proceeded as vehs arrived.
ISSUM 23 1630 33 FSU now attached 81 (Br) Gen Hosp.
24 1100 Capt. J.A.G. Horton temporarily attached 81 (Br) Gen Hosp.
24   W.3008 and W.3009 to GHQ 2nd Echelon. Appx I (4)

ISSUM 25 0930 517 Mob DU moved to 1 FDS.

27 1100 54 FSU and 31 FTU moved to join 24 FDS who are moving across R.Rhine.
27   539 Mob DU now attached.
28 1300 CCS received orders to move 29 Mar to location across R. Rhine.
28   Capt FL. Stuart, AD Corps (517 Mob DU) returned to CCS.
28 1800 21 FTU returned to CCS.
28   Forward element 11 Adv Depot Med Stores attached CCS.
28   Loading commenced and continued as vehs were made available by RASC Tpt Coy.
29 0600 Remaining tentage struck and loading completed.
29 0830 Convoy moved off to RAESFELD.
29 1400 Convoy arrived RAESFELD.
29 1800 No further orthers received and arrangements made to billet personnel in barns.
29 2000 Orders received that CCS would remain on wheels at present location and move 30 Mar 45.
30 0930 Convoy moved off to GEMEN.
GEMEN 30 1100 Off-loading commenced and preparations made to open CCS.
30   Advanced truck, Y Blood Bank attached CCS.
30 1600 45 and 48 FSUs now attached.
30 1700 54 FSU attached from 24 FDS.
30 1730 31 FTU rejoined from 24 FDS.
30 1800 Casualties arriving at CCS in small numbers.
31 1330 Field Marshal Sir Bernard L. Montgomery, KCB, DSO, C-in-C, 21 Army Group, visited CCS.
31 1600 33 and 48 FSUs and 21 FTU moved from CCS to join 1 FDS who are proceeding to LAER to form an Advanced Surgical Centre.
GEMEN 31 1800 237 cases admitted, 86 evacuated and 1 died to date.
