PREETZ 1   Normal duties carried out at PREETZ, PLON, NEUMUNSTER and KIEL. Speed traps operated by KIEL Det on the RENSBURG-NORTOFF Road – four charges submitted for speeding offences.
2   Normal duties carried out at PREETZ, PLON, NEUMUNSTER and KIEL. No 9 Section (NEUMUNSTER) reported increase of traffic thro’ NEUMUNSTER, extension of duties owing to this traffic. Reverted to normal later in evening. Speed trap operated by No 9 Section on the HAMBURG-NEUMUNSTER Road – 4 charges and two reports resulted. Two Polish DPs arrested by KIEL Det for butchering of a cow. Later handed over to the Civil Police. A Military Police raid by KIEL Det on a suspected Black Market – results negative.
3   Normal duties carried out at PREETZ, PLON, NEUMUNSTER and KIEL. 3 German civilians arrested for breach of curfew regulations by No 9 Section stationed at NEUMUNSTER.
4   Normal duties carried out at PREETZ, PLON, NEUMUNSTER and KIEL. Escort duties performed by No 8 Section (PLON) re visit of Captain Bellinger M.P. to 8 Corps Dist. Speed checks operated by No 9 Section on the KIEL-NEUMUNSTER Roads. Two charges and two reports submitted in respect of speeding offences.
5   Normal duties carried out at PREETZ, PLON, NEUMUNSTER and KIEL. Speed check operated by Section 8 in the Corps HQ area – no charges or reports submitted. A raid was carried out by No 9 Section at the Asylum for the homeless at 2300 hrs, two English soldiers found on enclosed premises. One German woman in possession of Allied foodstuffs. Four Poles from DP Camp at LUBECK were arrested by KIEL Det at the KIEL Railway Station for being in possession of arms and ammunition.
6   Normal duties carried out at PREETZ, PLON, NEUMUNSTER and KIEL. One German civilian arrested by KIEL [Det] for being in possession of a large quantity of salt.
7   Normal duties carried out at PREETZ, PLON, NEUMUNSTER and KIEL. Speed checks operated by No 9 Section on the KIEL-NEUMUNSTER Road. One charge and two reports preferred.

16   Normal duties carried out at PREETZ, PLON, NEUMUNSTER and KIEL. Speed checks operated on the KIEL-HAMBURG Road – no reports. An [Arabian?] lager was entered by KIEL Det and it was ascertained that 2 sheep had been slaughtered. Lager Fuehrer was instructed to produce the men responsible.
