Jhr. Nicolaas Johan Westpalm van Hoorn, born on March 20, 1889 in Bogor (Java). He was secretary of the Ned. Indische Plantersbond and member – broker – of a securities firm. He was arrested as civilian by the Japanese on June 9, 1942 in Bandoeng and lost his life in the sinking of Junyo Maru on September 18, 1944. Father of 1 son and 1 daughter.
