Biography

Jhr. Willem Lodewijk de Lannoy, born October 9, 1908 in Djokjakarta (Central Java). Employé at the tobacco and indigo company Kebon Aroem in Klaten (Central Java). Sergeant 1st class at the K.N.I.L., taken prisoner of war on March 8, 1942 and deported to Japan to the Fukuoka camp in Orio, where he died of bacterial dysentery in the military hospital in Itouzu on April 25, 1943.
