Willis Jackson Ferrill served as 1st Lieutenant with the Company I, 3rd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment. He served in Operation Husky, in Avranche, Anzio and Operation Shingle. He was killed in action on January 23rd, 1944 during fightings along the Mussolini Canal.
