He was a bomb aimer on the crew of Lancaster bomber ED 806 WS-L, which crashed at 11:34 p.m. on April 9, 1943, in Nistelrode (Kleinwijk, 400 meters behind the Uden-Nistelrode-Heesch road). The aircraft was shot down by Maj. Streib of I.NJG.1 from the German air base in Venlo.
The entire crew was killed. The target of the mission was Duisburg (Germany).

Paramore was identified, the others as unknown.
In September 1946, they were reburied in the British War Cemetery in Uden.
Paramore is in grave 4 E 1, the others in a shared grave.
