Biography

Trooper Thomas Frank Cross
15th (Scottish) Regiment, Reconnaissance Corps R.A.C.
He was shot by a German sniper while carrying out a reconnaissance mission near the Dommel River in Sint-Oedenrode, along with his companion, Ian Stewart.
He was temporarily buried in a field grave near the Rovers family home. He was subsequently reburied at the British War Cemetery in Uden.
The urn containing the ashes of his wife, Robina, was placed in her husband's grave on June 25, 1999.
