    Flight Sergeant Geoffrey Charles Everitt
    Wireless Operator/Air Gunner RAF (VR)
    No. 207 Sqdn. RAF
    He was a flight operator/air gunner of Lancaster bomber R5761 EM-T. On the return flight from a failed bombing mission to Essen (Germany), the aircraft was shot down and crashed in a field called 'Meijersakker' in Altforst.
    The seven-member crew was killed. Four of them were buried on August 7, 1942, and three of them on August 13, 1942, in the rectory garden next to the Roman Catholic St. Peter's Church in Uden.
    Everitt was buried as an unknown on August 7 and identified in August 1943.
