Biography

L. Cpl. James Wade
5th Bn. The Black Watch, Royal Highland Regiment
He was killed in action on 23 October 1944 in Wijbosch (Schijndel) at the start of Operation Colin, the attack on Schijndel.
He was buried by German soldiers in a field grave on the Rooijsche Heide - Scheidingsweg in Schijndel.
He was reburied in the summer of 1946 at the British War Cemetery in Uden.
Pte. Robert Stewart was killed alongside him.
