Biography

Gunner John Joseph Kenneth Wright
5th Regt., Royal Horse Artillery
He drove a vehicle into a mine during a reconnaissance mission in the Boxtel-Esch area during Operation 'Colin' and was seriously injured.
He succumbed to his injuries in a military hospital at Huize De La Salle in Boxtel.
He was temporarily buried, along with twelve other fallen soldiers, in a field grave on the grounds of this hospital on the 's-Hertogenbosch-Eindhoven highway.
He was reburied on September 5, 1946, at the British War Cemetery in Uden.
