Stien (Christina Johanna) van Duren was born on September 21st, 1925 as daughter to Jan van Duren and Antonia Josephina Maria Scholten van Duren-Scholten. She was working as help in the houshold from butcher Brinkhoff at the Krayenhofflaan in Nijmegen, when on September 22nd, 1944 the whole block of houses was destroyed in the bombardment that day. Stien was killed in the event.
