War Memorial Doornenburg

The war memorial in Doornenburg commemorates the inhabitants of Doornenburg who died during the Second World War. In front of the monument is a memorial stone on the spot where the church of Doornenburg once stood. During the Second World War, this church was destroyed by the German occupiers.

The Phoenix on the globe was made by blacksmith Tiny van Donzel from Oss, which was placed on May 4, 1958.
