O. Hanson was a crew member ("driver") of the motor tug Nuneaton during Operation Postmaster. His tug was tasked with towing the German ship Likomba out of Santa Isabel harbor and successfully brought it back to Lagos. He was employed by Messrs. Elder Dempster Shipping Co. Ltd.
