Mohr was awarded the Knight’s Cross for leading the Granville raid on the night of 08/09.03.1945. In the course of the raid the Germans succeeded in damaging the harbour locks and port facilities, heavily damaged 5 allied ships and captured a collier full of coal. 67 German prisoners were freed and a total of 30 allied troops were taken prisoner.
