Biography

Hans Bambey studied from 1933 to 1936 in Philosophy and Pedagogy to become a teacher. From 1936 and onwards he served in the Luftwaffe. He left the service at the end of the war as Hauptmann. Between 1948 and 1955 he was a Primary School Teacher. In 1955 he went back to serve with the new West-German Luftwaffe and finally left the service as Brigadier General.
