06.03.1944: Leutnant, II. Gruppe, Sturmstaffel 1, his 1st and sole known victory, a B-17 S of Gardelegen
06.03.1944: Leutnant, Sturmstaffel 1, KIA with Fw 190 A7 Werknummer 642.962 coded 'White 20' opposing the Berlin Raid, crashed into the ground near Salzwedel to avoid being hit by P-51s of the 357FG, piloted by Capt Glendon Davis and Lt Tom Harris.
No rounds fired by the P-51s.
