Biography
Gustav-Eudard Francsi took part as a Feldwebel in the attacks on the English coast and over Narvik. He flew a total of 100 missions with 2. / Kampfgeschwader 40. Towards the end of 1941 he transferred to the Nachtjagdwaffe and at by the end of 1943 he flew with 1. / Nachtjagdgeschwader 100 at the Eastfront.
He flew a total of 250 missions and achieved 56 night victories. Of these 49 were in the east, a feat which made him the most successful night-fighter pilot on the Eastern front.
