Xaver Glonner was observer with the German Luftwaffe. Before the outbreak of the Second World War het felw with the II./K.G.53 (Legion Condor).
Missing in action since July 27th 1944 near Vilnius. Het was flying with Heinkel He 111 H 16 "5J+CS" Werknummer: 61910 from Kampfgeschwader 8./K.G.4 (General Wever). The plane has probably been shot down. On board were: Roth, Werner/Hptm. Staffeikapitän; Meier, Walter Fhj.Ofw.F (Pilot); Glonner, Xaver Fw; Oldenburg, Heinrich Stbfldw. Funker; Pflug, Willi Obfw. ? ; Drescher, Siegfried Gefr. gunman.
