Awarded for his wartime successes achieved as a bomber pilot over the course of 260 sorties in the west and east. During operations against England Kralemann would sink a 5000 GRT merchant vessel in the Channel during the summer of 1940, as well as fly on a number of special missions including the attack on the Chelmsford ball bearing factory on the 31.12.1940.

His greatest achievements would however be in the East. In this time he would be credited with the following enemy materiel destroyed…
