Biography

Hauptmann Robert Hoefeld commanded 16./L.L. of the Sturm Regiment at Crete,later awarded the RK while serving with 4./Jäg.Rgt "HG" (ex Fsch.Jäg.Rgt 5) in Tunisia in 1943, was declared MIA in May 1943 and reappeared as a POW in June 1943.
