Biography

Otto Ferro was killed on December 24th, 1943 when his U-boat "U 645" was sunk northeast of the Azores (45.20 N/21.40W) bu the U.S.S. Schenck (AHL-55).
He served as the U-boats Kommandeur from October 22nd, 1942 until its sinking during which he sunk two ships in three operational sorties, with a total tonnage of 12.788 BRT.
