Biography

Johannes Steinhoff achieved 178 airial victories during 993 operational sorties of which 105 sorties were as figher-bomber.
Johannes Steinhoff served after the Second World War with the Bundeswehr from 1955 until 31st March 1974, where he reached the rank of General. Between 1971 and 1974 he was Vorsitzender des NATO-Militärausschusses.
