Biography

Joseph Shaw Ross flew his first flight on July 19th, 1941 with instructor Sergeant Fieldhouse in DeHavilland Tiger Moth N9367 and flew his first Solo flight in Tiger Moth T5807. After World War Two he flew with the SAS and Quantas.

December 23rd, 1941: Pilot Officer on probation (emregency);
October 1st, 1942: Flying Officer on probation (War subs);
December 23rd, 1943: Flight Lieutenant (War subs.);
December 12th, 1946: Flight Lieutenant.
