Biography

After having served as a gunner with the Royal Artillery in France during the German invasion, het volunteerd in Egypt with the No. 55 Squadron. In January 1944 he was placed with the No. 13 (Royal Hellenic Air Force) Squadron.

He played international rugby for Ireland, and for the British Isles and Ireland Lions on their tour of South Africa in 1938. After WWII he served in colonial administration as a legal officer and was appointed a Judge.
