Biography
De Vries was a Führeranwärter. This ment that he was on the waitinglist to get an education as an officer at one of the Junkerschulen der Waffen-SS. In the case of de Vries it would probably have been at the one in Bad-Tölz (Germany) since most of the Dutchmen in the Waffen-SS followed the course there.
