Biography

Heubel was the brother of Florentine Rost van Tonningen-Heubel (the black widow). During the period he was living in Hamburg (Germany), he joined the SA (Sturmabteilung), and became a member of the Dutch NSB in the early 1930's. Together with Henk Feldmeijer and others he erected the Mussertgarde, NSB leader Anton Mussert's personal bodyguard.
