"Now on his second tour of operations, F/O.Seale has flown on many more operational sorties since the award of the D.F.C. He has attacked some of the enemy's most heavily defended targets in Germany. In the face of intense enemy opposition, this officer has accomplished his tasks with determination, skill and courage. The excellent results obtained are a testimony to his outstanding ability."

"This officer has completed a large number of operational flying hours and has participated in three tours of operational duty. As squadron navigation officer he has worked with great, efficiency and enthusiasm Fit. Lt. Seale has always reached his target, even in the most adverse weather. He completed three long range sorties to Malaya, dropping stores and personnel by parachute, in the Singapore arsa. Throughout Fit. Lt. Seale has set a magmlirent example of determination and devotion to duty."
